On December 18, Saudi Arabia's 7.8G Wh energy storage project, delivered by integration, achieved full capacity grid connection, creating a number of global records-the world's fastest grid connection speed, the world's largest grid-connected energy storage project, and the world's largest grid construction technology application project. It
is equipped with nearly 7.8 million batteries and deploys more than 1500 sets of Sunshine Power Titan 2.0 liquid-cooled energy storage systems . The project takes only 58 days from order production to delivery, and 40 days to complete on-site commissioning. The project is expected to discharge 2.2 billion degrees of electricity annually.
On July 15, 2024, Sunshine Power signed an energy storage project with Al Gihaz of Saudi Arabia.
