According to the data of Pakistan Bureau of Statistics, as of the week of November 20, 2025, the price of cement in Pakistan fluctuated slightly, showing regional differences as a whole. Prices in the north rose slightly, while prices in the south declined slightly.
In major northern cities, the average retail price of 50 kg bags of cement reached 1,365 Pakistani rupees ( $4.84), up 0.2% from 1,362 rupees in the previous week. Specifically, the average price in Islamabad is 1,367 rupees and 1,355 rupees in Rawalpindi. Gujranwala and Sialkot are priced at Rs 1,400 and Rs 1,350 respectively. Lahore region has a higher price of Rs 1,410, while Faisalabad has a relatively lower price of Rs 1,340.
In contrast, cement prices in the southern region fell slightly by 0.1% in the week, from 1441 rupees per bag to 1440 rupees ( $5.10). The average price is Rs 1,373 in Karachi and Rs 1,427 in Hyderabad. Cities such as Sukkur, Quetta, Khuzdar and Larkana have a price range of Rs 1,407 to Rs 1,500.
In general, the cement market in Pakistan remained basically stable, and the price trend in the north and south regions showed a trend of differentiation, with significant price differences in different regions, reflecting the subtle differences in the supply and demand situation in the regional market.
