Recently, Yemen Dal Cement Co., Ltd., located in Aden Free Zone, Yemen, officially launched the first batch of products, marking the company's formal entry into the construction and building materials market. Ahmed Mansubo, general manager of the company, said that Dar Cement Co., Ltd. would start supplying new Portland cement to the local market with a capacity of 50 kilograms per bag. The product is produced in strict accordance with European and American standards (EN 197-1: 2011) and is able to meet the urgent needs of the Yemeni market for building materials, providing strong support for the country's sustainable development and reconstruction projects.
Mansoub stressed that this achievement is due to the company's strategic planning and continuous efforts over the years. The company has introduced advanced production lines and hired high-quality engineering and technical personnel to ensure that product quality meets international standards. He also pointed out that Dar Cement is not just a commercial brand, but a national project aimed at achieving self-sufficiency and providing Yemen with indigenous products that meet international manufacturing standards.
Our products are rigorously tested to ensure full compliance with standards, and we are committed to the highest quality and safety standards in the production process, from raw material procurement to packaging and distribution. Mansubo called on all contractors, consumers and distributors to try this new product, saying that the company will provide high-quality cement and competitive prices, while providing perfect after-sales service and establishing a true partnership with customers.
Mansubo also said that the launch of Dal Cement is only the first step in the development of the company, which plans to expand its production capacity to meet the needs of the local market and large-scale projects, and hopes to enter the regional market in the future. The Dar Cement Plant is one of Yemen's leading industrial projects, with a total investment of US $50 million, including the construction of a cement plant and a 21 MW oil-fired power station. The plant is capable of producing all types of cement to European and Saudi standards to meet local and international market demand. In the first phase, the company will produce 500,000 tons of cement annually and will gradually expand its production capacity according to market demand to meet the expectations of local and international markets.
