in Xinjiang, the 1 million kilowatt photovoltaic power generation project of Huadian Xinjiang Tacheng Multi-energy Complementary Base, is all connected to the grid. So far, Huadian Xinjiang region has put into operation 3.77 million kilowatts of power projects this year, with an installed capacity of 22.45 million kilowatts in operation.
This project is the second batch of large-scale wind power photovoltaic base projects in desert, Gobi and desertification areas. The project is located in Hebukesaier Mongolian Autonomous County, Tacheng Prefecture, Xinjiang, with a total installed capacity of 1 million kilowatts, divided into two phases of construction, each phase of 500000 kilowatts. After the
project is put into operation, 1.8 billion kilowatt-hours of "green electricity" will be added annually, 570000 tons of standard coal will be saved annually, and 1.46 million tons of carbon dioxide emissions will be reduced, which is of great significance for promoting the clean and low-carbon transformation of energy and electricity and promoting the high-quality development of Xinjiang's economy and society.
