1. Surface repair
includes compaction and troweling, application of epoxy adhesive, pasting of waterproof sheet, etc. Smearing is suitable for shallow, watertight/movable cracks; patching (geomembrane, etc.) is suitable for seepage prevention of large area of water leakage or deformation joints.
2. The local repair method
uses the repair material to directly fill the cracks, which is generally used to repair wider cracks (width > 0.3mm), with simple operation and low cost.
3. The cement pressure grouting method
is applicable to the stable cracks with a width of ≥ 0.5mm, and the purpose of blocking the cracks can be achieved by using the pressure feeding equipment (pressure 0.2 ~ 0.4Mpa) or the elastic joint filling device for grouting.
4. Reduce structural internal force
unloading or control load, set unloading structure, and add fulcrum or support.
5. The common methods of structural reinforcement
include adding steel bars, thickening plates, wrapping reinforced concrete, wrapping steel, pasting steel plates, prestressed reinforcement system, etc.
6. Change the structural scheme, strengthen the overall rigidity
, and adopt the method of adding diaphragms and deep beams to deal with the frame cracks.
7. The concrete replacement method
first removes the damaged concrete and replaces it with new concrete or mortar, which is generally applicable to serious damage.
8. The electrochemical protection method
includes three commonly used effective methods: cathodic protection, chlorine salt extraction and alkaline recovery. It changes the environmental state through the electric field and passivates the steel bars to achieve the purpose of corrosion prevention. It is less affected by the environment and is suitable for the long-term corrosion prevention of new/cracked structures of steel bars and concrete.
9. Bionic self-healing method
It is a new method to add special components (liquid core fibers or capsules containing binder) into concrete and secrete binder to heal itself when cracks appear.
