On April 2, Zhanjiang Municipal Bureau of Ecology and Environment imposed a fine of 305000 yuan on Zhanjiang Yufeng Concrete Company for violating the relevant regulations on air pollution prevention and control. During the law enforcement inspection in January this year, it was found that only a small part of the gravel, sand and other raw materials piled up in the open air in the raw material yard of the company's mixing station were covered with felt cloth, and no effective measures were taken to prevent and control dust pollution. Its raw material warehouse was rebuilt after being damaged by typhoon in October 2025, and 42 complaints about dust pollution were received from the masses during January 2026. The follow-up review still has the problem of incomplete coverage of raw materials, which violates the relevant provisions of air pollution prevention and control, and the law enforcement departments shall impose fines and penalties according to law.
