On August 25, the e-commerce platform of Datang Group issued a tender announcement for the procurement of photovoltaic modules in the north/south area of Laos Namo 500MW photovoltaic project (Haitou Company).
The announcement shows that the rated capacity of Laos Namo 500 MW photovoltaic project is 500 MW and the installed capacity is 630.37 MWp. A total of 158 PV arrays will be constructed for BC modules in the north area and HJT or TOPCon modules in the south area.
Among them, BC-655 Wp PV modules are planned to be purchased in the north area, with an installed capacity of 287.28 MWp; HJT-725 Wp or TOPCon-725 Wp PV modules of 343.09 MWp are planned to be purchased in the south area, and the bidder can only choose one of the two models.
It is worth noting that the delivery is divided into four batches: the first batch is in November 2026, the northern area needs to deliver 77.28 MW, and the southern area needs to deliver 88.09 MW; the second, third and fourth batches are delivered in December 2026, February 2027 and April 2027 respectively. The performance requirements for the bidder in this
tender are as follows:
North Area: from January 1, 2025 to the deadline for bidding (subject to the date of contract signing), the total contracted capacity of various types of components shall not be less than 1GW .
South area: from January 1, 2025 to the bid deadline of the TOPCon bidder (subject to the contract signing date), the total contracted capacity of various types of components shall not be less than 1GW ; From January 1, 2025 to the bid closing date (subject to the contract signing date), the total contracted capacity of all types of components shall not be less than 300 MW . Consortium bidding and agent bidding are not accepted
in this tender . The deadline for
bidding is 9:00 on September 15, 2026.
