On February 1, with the last truck of concrete entering the warehouse, the concrete pouring of the last unit section of the power plant of Zhongbaitaike Hydropower Station in Nepal, which was constructed by China Nengjian Guangxi Engineering Bureau, was successfully capped. So far, the concrete pouring of the three units of the hydropower station has been completed, and the conditions for turning from civil construction to unit installation have been met. The powerhouse of Zhongbai Hydropower Station
in Nepal is a diversion type ground powerhouse, consisting of main engine room, installation room and auxiliary powerhouse, with a total length of 71.70 meters and a width of 26.74 meters, of which the main engine room section is 35.1 meters long, the installation room section is 24.0 meters long, and the left auxiliary powerhouse section is 12.6 meters long. The concrete of the generator set in the main engine room is divided into five layers, namely, the tailrace layer, the butterfly valve layer, the turbine layer, the generator layer and the operation layer, with a total pouring volume of 1800 cubic meters and a total weight of 270 tons of metal structure embedded parts.
In view of a series of difficult problems in the construction process, such as the high risk of lifting the concrete of high strength steel spiral case, the interference of civil engineering, metal structure and grouting, the Nepal Project Department of Guangxi Engineering Bureau has made overall planning and advanced research and judgment, guided by on-site problems and based on the actual situation of the project, and strictly implemented the "three inspections". Measures such as joint acceptance of key positions and processes, on-site inspection, formwork removal and on-site summary should be implemented to ensure that the welding quality of draft tube and spiral case is excellent, the embedded parts are accurate without omission, and the concrete is smooth outside and solid inside, so as to achieve quality without defects and safety without accidents.
