On May 8, the first floor of Qingshan Tunnel, which was constructed by YL-YZ4 Project Department of Yilu Expressway of the Fourth Bureau of China Railway, began pouring, marking that the project has entered the construction stage of the main structure in an all-round way. The
Project starts from the north side of Tongshan Junction of Shanghai-Shaanxi Expressway, continuously crosses Ningqi Railway and 328 National Highway, passes through Yizheng Chemical Industry Park in the form of tunnel, crosses 356 Provincial Highway, ends at the North Embankment of the Yangtze River, and connects with Longtan Yangtze River Bridge under construction, with a total length of 12.372 km. It adopts the standard design of two-way six-lane expressway. Qingshan Tunnel constructed by China Railway No.4 Engineering Group Co., Ltd. is the only underpass tunnel of the whole line, with a total length of 1778m and a design speed of 100km/H. It is constructed by open-cut method. The bottom slab poured this time is 40m long, 35.1m wide and 1.3m thick, and the design concrete volume is 1947.9m ³.
Yilu Expressway is another important channel connecting Yangzhou and Yizheng areas with Nanjing and southern Jiangsu. After the construction of the project, it will be more convenient for Yangzhou and Yizheng areas to travel to Nanjing and Lukou Airport, including southern Jiangsu.
