Taking the photovoltaic power generation hydrogen production project in western China with an annual output of 20,000 tons of green hydrogen as an example, about 52 electrolytic cells of 1,000 Nm ³/H are needed, the power consumption is 4.3 kWh/Nm ³, and the equipment utilization rate is 4,300 hours/year. Assuming that the electricity price is 0.2 yuan/kWh, the LCOH can be reduced by 4.68% by replacing the 52 1000Nm ³/H electrolyzers with 26 2000Nm ³/H electrolyzers.
