In the first quarter, the total number of production safety accidents in China decreased significantly, and the safety situation in most regions and industries improved significantly. A total of 3258 production safety accidents, 3122 deaths and missing persons occurred nationwide, down 26.7% and 22.7% respectively from the same period last year, and no major accidents occurred. Of the 32 provincial statistical units, the total number of 26 accidents was "double down" year on year. Among the key industries, the total number of accidents in seven industries, including fishing vessels, coal mines, chemical industry, construction industry, railway transportation, road transportation and air transportation, has "double declined". Affected by strong cold air and strong convective weather processes, wind and hail disasters occur sporadically, and short-term heavy rainfall, thunderstorms, gales and hail are relatively concentrated in Yunnan, Guizhou, Hunan, Guangxi and other southern regions. The seismicity in the mainland of China has weakened compared with the average level of the same period in previous years, and no earthquake of magnitude 6 or above has occurred. At the same time, we will take the safety of limited space operation as an important publicity content of the safety production month in June this year, and create a strong atmosphere for the publicity of limited space standards through various ways.
The second is to strengthen guidance services. This year, the Ministry of Emergency Management will select 12 key counties to continue to organize expert guidance services, and take the new standards as an important publicity content in the process of guidance services to guide and help enterprises and improve the level of safety management.
