Emergency Management Department revokes the title of first-class enterprise of safety production standardization in Zhaotong Kungang Jiahua Cement and other industrial and trade industries

On September 28, the Ministry of Emergency Management of the People's Republic of China issued Announcement No.6 of 2023. Since

this year, there have been three fatal accidents in the first-class enterprises of safety production standardization in the industry and trade industry. On February 24, a mechanical injury accident occurred in the cold rolling plant of Baoshan Iron and Steel Co., Ltd., resulting in one death ; on May 6, a mechanical injury accident occurred in Zhaotong Kungang Jiahua Cement Building Materials Co., Ltd., resulting in one death; On May 27, a lifting injury accident occurred in the steelmaking plant of Shanghai Meishan Iron and Steel Co., Ltd., resulting in one death.

According to the provisions of the Grading Measures for the Construction of Enterprise Safety Production Standardization (Emergency [2021] No.83), Now, the title of first-class enterprise of safety production standardization in the industry and trade industry of Baoshan Iron and Steel Co., Ltd., Zhaotong Kungang Jiahua Cement Building Materials Co., Ltd. and Shanghai Meishan Iron and Steel Co., Ltd. is revoked, and the relevant incentive policies are no longer enjoyed.
