According to Iran's Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) on September 22, Iran signed a 7 GW solar module procurement agreement with Chinese photovoltaic companies. The procurement was funded by the National Development Fund of Iran to address the country's power shortage. The contract is the largest of its kind in Iran's history.
Reported that the above agreement is part of a major economic contract signed by China and Iran.
