According to the Nigerian media Sun Nigeria, during the Nigerian delegation's visit to the headquarters of Longji Green Energy, The two sides explored the possibility of establishing a solar photovoltaic module production plant in Nigeria .
Reported that during the visit, Dr. Abdullahi Mustafa, Director-General of the Nigerian Energy Commission, proposed the idea of building a 500-1000 MW solar module production plant in Nigeria .

Earlier in February, Nigeria's Independent newspaper and other media reported that. Nigeria and Longji Green Energy signed a green hydrogen agreement worth 7.6 billion euros (about 57.7 billion yuan ) .
The project is located in the free trade zone of Atabricon, Ibeno Local Government District, Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria, and is planned to produce 1.2 million tons of green hydrogen derivatives annually , mainly for conversion into green methanol for export.

It is reported that this project will adopt Longji Green Energy N-type TOPCon photovoltaic module and new alkaline electrolytic cell technology . Build a complete industrial chain of "photovoltaic hydrogen production + chemical conversion".
Then in March, the French subsidiary of Longji Green Energy signed an agreement with the Federal Ministry of Innovation, Science and Technology (FMIST) of Nigeria for 2.6G W solar modules for the construction of the above-mentioned green hydrogen project. Uche Nnaji,
Nigeria's Minister of Innovation, Science and Technology, said the 2.6GW module agreement would be one of the largest solar procurement deals in sub-Saharan Africa's history.
