On October 27, less than a month after the first phase of monocrystalline silicon project in Sany Shuozhou was put into operation, Sany Group successfully cooperated with Pinglu District, Shuozhou City, Shanxi Province, to increase the integrated layout of the whole photovoltaic industry chain.
On October 27, Sany Silicon Energy signed cooperation agreements with Pinglu District Economic Development Zone and Pinglu District People's Government on Sany Shuozhou Phase II Large-size Ultra-thin Monocrystalline Silicon Wafer Project and Sany Group Pinglu District Distributed Photovoltaic Power Generation Project.
It is reported that the contracted ultra-thin monocrystalline silicon wafer project, with a total investment of 340 million yuan and an annual total output value of about 2.1 billion yuan, will adopt the most advanced equipment and technical routes in the industry, leading its peers in the aspects of silicon wafer cutting, thinning, large size and fast cutting, so as to achieve a higher number of square rods per kilogram and a lower total. Through the intelligent production management system of Sany, the flexible production scheduling and efficient operation of the silicon wafer production line are realized. The
simultaneous signing of the distributed photovoltaic power generation project in Pinglu District will help Sany Silicon to further improve the construction of the mass production base of the whole industry chain of photovoltaic products, accelerate the layout of the photovoltaic new energy industry by enterprises and local governments, and ultimately achieve the goal of adapting measures to local conditions, developing multiple scenarios simultaneously and benefiting multiple parties. Time is running out to accelerate the
layout of 50GW in three years. On May 4 this year, the official public account of Sany Group published the article "The future has come!"! SANY Marches Steadily into Photovoltaic Industry ! ? High-profile entry into the photovoltaic industry .
But in fact, Sany Group's layout of photovoltaic industry chain has been "premeditated for a long time", as early as 2016, it has been involved in distributed photovoltaic investment, construction and operation, but unfortunately encountered a "cold wave" in the photovoltaic industry in 2018 and the plan was interrupted.
In 2022, Sany picked up the dream of "chasing the light". In August 2022, Sany Silicon Energy (Zhuzhou) Co., Ltd. was established with a registered capital of 1 billion yuan. In December of that year, it successfully opened up the whole industry chain of photovoltaic manufacturing in Zhuzhou Base, with independent R & D and production capacity from crystal pulling, slicing, batteries to components, which also declared that Sany formally entered the vertical integration camp of photovoltaic industry. Since
2023, Sany Group has accelerated its pursuit of light and set up Sany Silicon Energy (Shuozhou) in Shanxi. On July 28, it signed a monocrystalline silicon project cooperation agreement with Pinglu Economic and Technological Development Zone, Shuozhou City, Shanxi Province.
On September 28, Sany Shuozhou Phase I 5G W monocrystalline silicon project was officially put into operation in Pinglu District, Shuozhou City, Shanxi Province.
On October 17, the first N-type TOPCon solar cell produced by Sanyi Silicon Energy 5G W Zhuzhou Base was successfully offline, marking that the production capacity of Sanyi Silicon Energy Zhuzhou Base has reached the mass production standard, and the N-type integrated industrial layout has been formally formed.
On October 27, Sanyi Shuozhou Phase II officially landed.
……
According to Sany Silicon Energy, the company will complete the whole industrial chain layout of 5 ~ 10GW in 2023. In the future, Sany Silicon Energy plans to complete the whole industrial chain layout of 50GW in three years, including domestic capacity of 20GW and overseas capacity of 30GW.
It is worth noting that, at present, in the context of photovoltaic overcapacity, the industry shuffling period is approaching, and the new entrants are rapidly expanding their scale, deepening the layout of the industrial chain, and strengthening the barriers to competition, so as to gain a firm foothold in the future market ups and downs and cruel struggle. But it is really necessary to "speed up" and "speed up", after all, more monks and less porridge, and time is running out.
