Vietnam Cement Association, said recently that two new cement plants will be put into operation in Vietnam this year, the first one is located in Tan Thang Commune, Nghe An Province, central Vietnam, with a capacity of 2-2.5 million tons, and the second new plant is under construction in Bim Son Commune, Thanh Hoa Province. Its production capacity is 4.6 million tons.

According to the forecast of Vietnam's Ministry of Construction, the total sales volume of Vietnam's cement industry will increase by about 5% to 103 million tons in 2020, of which about 70 million tons will be digested by Vietnam's domestic market.
