Vietnam's total exports of cement and clinker reached 31.6764 million tons, an increase of 37.21% over the same period last year. Among them, 18.0422 million tons of cement clinker were exported to China, or more than 22 million tons in the whole year.
According to October data, the average unit price of cement clinker exported from Vietnam to China was 37.78 US dollars/ton, up 10% from September. The rise in prices was accompanied by a fall in exports, which fell to 2.4 million tons in October after Vietnam exported more than 3 million tons of cement clinker to China for the first time in September, down nearly 20% from the previous month, but still higher than same period last year.
