On the occasion of the 35th anniversary of Tajikistan's independence, the Sughd State Government held a grand commendation event on September 7. The Governor of Sughd State and the First Deputy Speaker of the Tajik Parliament, Rajpoi Ahmadzoda, presented the honorary certificate of "Outstanding Contribution to Industrial Development" to Huaxin Sughd Company in recognition of its outstanding contributions to industrial upgrading, economic growth and livelihood improvement in Sughd State.
Governor Ahmadzoda also held talks and exchanges with Zhou Zhiyuan, General Manager of Huaxin Tajik Project. He spoke highly of Huaxin's long-term steady development and public welfare. He said that Huaxin has been deeply engaged in the Tajik market for many years, adhered to compliance management and pragmatic development, actively promoted local employment, improved infrastructure, and upgraded enabling industries, which is an important backbone to promote the economic and social development of Soghd Prefecture. He hoped that Huaxin would continue to play a benchmarking role in the industry, continue to broaden cooperation areas, deepen multi-level pragmatic cooperation, and inject strong momentum into the comprehensive strategic partnership between China and Tajikistan in the new era.
Zhou Zhiyuan thanked the Tajik governments at all levels for their long-term concern and support for enterprises. He said that Huaxin will continue to cultivate the territorial market, adhere to sound operation, actively fulfill corporate social responsibility, and contribute to deepening practical cooperation between China and Tajikistan and achieving mutual benefit and win-win results.
It is understood that Huaxin Suget Company has always adhered to the concept of localized co-construction and sharing of development, and since 2019, through the establishment of Huaxin Public Welfare Fund with the Suget State Government, it has continued to help improve local infrastructure and people's livelihood. Since this year, the company has carried out a number of practical projects to benefit the people, carried out special repairs and maintenance of roads around the factory area, promoted the development of local cultural and sports undertakings, and helped improve the quality and reinforcement of frontier infrastructure, highlighting Huaxin's overseas responsibilities.
