On August 11, China Mineral Resources announced that the company's two high-purity lithium salt production lines in Jiangxi, which were shut down due to temporary maintenance, have completed all the maintenance work and will resume work one after another.
The announcement shows that since June 30, 2026, China Mineral Resources Group Co., Ltd. has temporarily shut down the production line of "30000 tons of high-purity lithium salt per year" and the production line of "35000 tons of high-purity lithium salt per year" of its subsidiary China Mineral Resources (Jiangxi) Lithium Industry Co., Ltd. (Hereinafter referred to as "Jiangxi Zhongkuang Lithium Industry").
As of the date of this announcement, Jiangxi Zhongkuang Lithium has completed all the maintenance work. Meanwhile, the Company's self-produced lithium concentrates have arrived at the plant one after another, and the conditions for resumption of production have been met. The company has decided that the production line of "annual output of 30,000 tons of high-purity lithium salt" of Jiangxi Zhongkuang Lithium Industry will resume production on August 10, 2026, and the production line of "annual output of 35,000 tons of high-purity lithium salt" will gradually resume production in mid-August 2026.
Earlier, on the evening of July 10, China Mineral Resources disclosed its semi-annual performance forecast for 2026, predicting a net profit of 1.05 billion yuan to 1.25 billion yuan in the first half of this year, an increase of 1078.07% to 1302.46% over the same period last year.
The company said that during the reporting period, benefiting from the development of downstream energy storage and power battery industry, the price of lithium salt products rose year on year, the operating efficiency of the company's lithium new energy raw material development and utilization sector improved, the profit increased year on year, and the overall profitability of the company improved. The company's Tsumeb smelter in Namibia reduced its losses significantly compared with the same period last year due to business transformation.
