Longji and RWE cooperated to build a 300MWh photovoltaic energy storage project in Sicily, Italy, marking the deep participation of Chinese photovoltaic enterprises in the development of large-scale photovoltaic storage integration in Europe.

Recently, Longji Green Energy and RWE, a global energy company, formally signed an important cooperation agreement to deploy a large-scale centralized photovoltaic and battery energy storage system (BESS) project in Sicily, Italy.

The project is equipped with about 300 MWh energy storage capacity , which will be connected to the local power grid after completion.

This project will adopt Longji's flagship centralized energy storage solution LONGiBank 2.06.25 MWh. The product is designed with a high-safety, liquid-cooled integrated lithium iron phosphate (LFP) system, with an energy density of up to 146Wh/L and a capacity of 625 1kWh per compartment in an optimized 20-foot standard container.
