Silicon Materials Last week, the average price of N-type silicon materials was RMB50,800/ton, with a month-on-month increase of 3.79% and a year-on-year increase of 26.96%; the average price of N-type granular silicon was RMB49,500/ton, with a month-on-month increase of 2.06% and a year-on-year increase of 33.78%. During the week, the transaction price of polysilicon is still rising, the policy combination continues to exert its strength, and the market confidence remains firm. With the price breaking through 50,000 yuan/ton, the profits of polysilicon enterprises will be significantly improved.

According to the data of Digital New Energy DataBM. Com, the price index of TOPCon double-sided 182 photovoltaic modules was 0.67 yuan/W last week, which was flat annually, down 5.63% year-on-year. The price index of TOPCon double-sided 210 photovoltaic modules was 0.68 yuan/W, which was flat, down 5.56% year-on-year, and the price index of TOPCon double-sided 210R photovoltaic modules was 0.68 yuan/W, which was flat, down 4.23% year-on-year; The price index of HJT double-sided 210 photovoltaic modules was 0.72 yuan/W, down 1.37% from the previous month. In the past two weeks, the price of photovoltaic modules has been relatively stable, although the market has been partly pushed up, but due to the drag of demand, the price is difficult to land. As the upstream price rises, the downstream cost pressure gradually rises, which is difficult to transmit from the market level, and further policy efforts are needed.

Last week, the price of industrial silicon continued to show a certain rebound. The average price of Si4210 industrial silicon was 9666.67 yuan/ton, up 1.49% from the previous month, and the inventory was still at a high level. However, in mid-September, the silicon industry conference was held to control the supply side again, and the market showed a certain rebound. On the downstream side, affected by the further rise in the price of polysilicon, the price of silicon wafers continued to rise. At present, the operating rate of leading enterprises remained stable without further expansion of production, the supply control was relatively orderly, and the enterprises were actively pushing up. Affected by this, battery prices have also risen. According to the data released by the National Bureau of Statistics, the output of photovoltaic cells in August reached 69.86 GW, an increase of 16.8% over the same period last year, and an increase of 3.48 GW over August. Despite weak domestic demand, export growth remained strong. In July, the export volume of photovoltaic cells increased by 59.2% year-on-year, exceeding 1 billion pieces for the first time. It is expected that the export in August will remain strong, supporting a certain market demand. In terms of
polysilicon, the overall silicon industry is currently in the core area of "anti-involution". A number of policy documents have proposed to promote the photovoltaic industry to crack the vicious competition of "involution". The price support of manufacturers is expected to be relatively strong, and the market transaction price is still rising last week. On September 16, the National Standards Committee issued three mandatory national standards (draft for comments) on the energy efficiency limits and grades of crystalline silicon photovoltaic modules and inverters, the energy consumption limits of polycrystalline silicon and germanium unit products, and the energy consumption limits of silicon single crystal unit products. Among them, the Energy Consumption Quota for Polycrystalline Silicon and Germanium Unit Products is planned to be formally implemented in 2026. Compared with the previous GB 29447-2022 standard, the standard has greatly increased the three levels of energy consumption, and the energy consumption threshold of the existing capacity has been raised from 10 kgce/kg to 6.5 kgce/kg, which has no impact in the short term, and will be conducive to partial clearance of capacity in the later period.
