An anti-dumping investigation has been launched into solar panel junction boxes (Junction Boxes for solar panels) from China. The dumping investigation period of
this case is the whole year of 2024, and the injury investigation period is from January 1, 2022 to December 30, 2024. The Turkish tariff numbers of the products involved are 8544.42.90.00.11, 8544.60.10.00.11 and 8544.60.90.00.00.
On the same day, the Ministry of Trade of Turkey issued Announcement No.2025/10, saying that in response to the application of the Turkish Trade Association, An anti-dumping investigation has been launched into photovoltaic aluminium frames (Aluminum Frames for photovoltaic panels) originating in China. The dumping investigation period of
this case is from October 1, 2023 to September 30, 2024, and the injury investigation period is from January 1, 2022 to September 30, 2024. The Turkish tariff number of the product involved is 8541.90.00.00.11.
It is reported that as early as July 2016, Turkey has launched an anti-dumping investigation on photovoltaic modules originating in China . On April 1,
2017, Turkey made a final ruling on the case, imposing anti-dumping duties of US $20/m2 and US $25/m2 on the imported components of 16 Chinese enterprises and other Chinese enterprises, respectively, with a validity period of 5 years . In
2023, this anti-dumping duty will continue to be imposed . In March 2024, anti-dumping measures were expanded to include imports from countries with more competitive prices, including Vietnam, Malaysia, Thailand, Croatia and Jordan.
In addition to anti-dumping, Turkey also introduced a feed-in tariff (FIT) of 1.06 lira/kWh for PV systems installed between July 1, 2021 and December 31, 2030, and projects using Turkish-made PV modules received more financial support.
