On June 28, Gushanliang 3GW/12.8GWh Energy Storage Power Station Project in Ordos City, Inner Mongolia started construction.

The project is located in Engebei Town, Dalate Banner, Ordos City, Inner Mongolia, with a total investment of 11.2 billion yuan and an area of about 1100 mu. Inner Mongolia Zhongdian Energy Storage Technology Co., Ltd., Vision Technology Group, Ordos Dalate Banner Boliang New Energy Technology Co., Ltd., Ordos Luanxing New Energy Technology Co., Ltd., Dalate Banner Shenneng New Energy Co., Ltd. has invested in five companies, involving seven projects , which are planned to be completed and put into operation on December 30 , 2025.

Among them, Dalate Banner Shenneng New Energy Co., Ltd. has invested about 2 billion yuan and is responsible for the construction of an electric heating and energy storage project with an installed capacity of 200000 kW/1.6 million kWh. Using the electric heating and energy storage technology of the Institute of Electrical Engineering of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, it can achieve 8 hours of long-term energy storage, achieve peak shaving and valley filling, and promote the absorption of new energy. Reduce the phenomenon of "light and wind abandonment" and assist new energy grid connection.

Zhejiang Xingchen Xinneng Technology Co., Ltd. has built a 300000 kW/1.2 million kWh independent energy storage project on the power supply side of Gushanliang Xingchen Branch in Ordos City, with an estimated investment of 1.5 billion yuan. The project adopts lithium iron phosphate battery energy storage system + all-vanadium liquid flow energy storage system. It is understood that the Gushanliang 3GW/12.8GWh energy storage power station project in Ordos City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region includes lithium iron phosphate, molten salt energy storage, all-vanadium liquid flow and other technical routes. After the completion of the project, 3.6 billion kilowatt-hours of clean energy power can be delivered to the grid annually, with an estimated annual sales revenue of 1.8 billion yuan and a tax revenue of more than 250 million yuan.
