Guangzhou: Municipal River Chief Office Takes the Lead in Organizing Cross-city Joint Action to Crack Down on Illegal Sand and Mud Washing

On September 26, Guangzhou Hechang Office took the lead in launching a joint law enforcement campaign in the waters at the junction of Guangzhou, Foshan and Zhongshan to crack down on illegal sand mining, sand washing, mud washing and dregs dumping in rivers. He Chengwei, a first-level investigator (municipal administration) of the Municipal Water Bureau, participated in the law enforcement action. This law enforcement action mainly carried out joint inspections in the waters of Hongqili and Ronggui waterways at the junction of the three cities, with 12 law enforcement officers and 3 law enforcement boats dispatched.
