10月22日上午，恩施市人民政府与华新水泥（恩施）有限公司签订年产500万吨建筑材料精品机制砂石生产线项目投资协议书，该项目计划总投资5.2亿元。
据了解，项目将充分利用恩施市矿产资源，推进绿色矿山建设，实现矿产资源综合利用，保护恩施良好的自然环境。项目选址位于恩施市白果乡瓦场坝村，生产线建设用地占地约120亩，分两期建设，总建设期为21个月，一期预计2021年9月动工，次年9月开始试生产，预计税收1200万元。
