On April 28, the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council issued a decision on commending national labor models and advanced workers.
In recent years, under the strong leadership of the Party Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping as its core, the whole Party and the people of all ethnic groups have made great efforts to overcome difficulties and take a new and solid step towards Chinese-style modernization. In this great practice, a large number of advanced model figures who are dedicated, enterprising, selfless and daring to be the first have emerged. They are outstanding representatives of tens of millions of working people in all walks of life. With their exemplary actions and noble character, they vividly interpret the connotation of the times of the spirit of model workers, labor and craftsmen, and fully demonstrate the new style of the working class and the broad masses of working people in the new era. In order to commend their outstanding contributions and further unite the powerful forces of unity and progress, the Party Central Committee and the State Council decided to award 1670 people the title of national model worker and 756 people the title of national advanced worker.
