According to the statistical data of crude steel output in all parts of the country from January to October 2025, the cumulative output of crude steel in the whole country showed a certain trend, which was -3.90% compared with the same period last year. The output of each region has different changes, some regions have a year-on-year decline in output, and some regions have a year-on-year increase. Among them, the year-on-year increase in Qinghai is more prominent, reaching 13.38%, while the year-on-year decrease in Guizhou is relatively obvious, reaching -15.12%. The year-on-year decline in Inner Mongolia was relatively small, only -0.02%. On the whole, there are great differences in the year-on-year changes of crude steel output in different regions.

2025, the total output of crude steel in China was 817.874 million tons, representing a year-on-year decrease of 3.90%. Analyzing the provincial data, the largest production is in Hebei, reaching 166,785,900 tons; the smallest is in Qinghai, reaching 1,277,100 tons. On a year-on-year basis, only Jilin, Yunnan, Qinghai, Ningxia and Xinjiang rose, while the rest of the provinces fell, with Guizhou falling the most, down 15.12%, and Qinghai rising the most, up 13.38%.
