In the first quarter of 2025, the Central Safety Production Assessment and Inspection was officially launched.

Recently, the first quarter of the 2025 Central Safety Production Assessment and Inspection was officially launched. Twenty-two central safety production assessment and inspection teams led by relevant members of the Security Committee of the State Council have been stationed in 31 provinces, autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government and Sinkiang Production and Construction Corps to conduct open and secret visits to safety production in the first quarter.

The open and secret investigation of production safety began in mid-March and ended at the end of March. It will focus on the overall development and implementation of safety responsibilities of relevant departments in various regions, the closed-loop situation of rectification of hidden dangers in the early stage, the progress of key work such as three-year action to tackle the root causes, the key tasks related to safety production and the implementation of the whole chain of "one thing" rectification in key industries, and the risk provention and control in the field of public safety. Deeply carry out open and secret visits, expert guidance and assistance, acceptance of reports from the masses and verification and investigation of clues, investigation and rectification of hidden dangers of major accidents, and exposure of hidden dangers of problems, so as to improve the quality and effectiveness of open and secret visits and rectify formalism, lay equal stress on reducing burdens at the grass-roots level, continuously compact the responsibilities of Party committees and governments at all levels and relevant departments, and comprehensively investigate and rectify all kinds of problems. We will continue to strengthen and improve the work of production safety and resolutely prevent and curb the occurrence of major production safety accidents. During the period

of stationing, the inspection teams will receive reports from the masses by setting up reporting telephones and e-mail boxes, resolutely investigate and deal with the hidden dangers of major problems in production safety around the masses, and promote the supervision of typical major problems and transfer the responsibility of territorial investigation. With the approval of the

Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council, 22 central safety inspection teams will be stationed in 31 provinces, autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government and Sinkiang Production and Construction Corps in mid-March to carry out open and secret visits to safety production in the first quarter of 2025 for a period of about 7 days in each region.

Each assessment and inspection team will set up reporting channels such as reporting telephone and e-mail (attached), mainly accepting reports concerning major problems in production safety, hidden dangers and illegal acts, as well as suggestions on strengthening and improving the work of production safety and the implementation of the responsibility for production safety. From the date of issuance of the announcement to the end of on-site open and secret visits, the inspection teams will receive reports in the form of short messages, telephone calls and e-mails.
