Yesterday, the photovoltaic industry was named by the People's Daily. Does it mean that the whole industry will be rectified next?
On June 29, the People's Daily published an article by Jin Sheping, naming the "involution" competition in photovoltaic modules and other industries.
The article points out that at present, the annual production capacity of each link in the photovoltaic industry exceeds 1100 GW, the supply exceeds the demand in stages, and the price of products from polysilicon to modules has fallen sharply. However, some local governments are still keen on attracting investment and launching new projects. Behind
the "involution", there are some common influences, such as the mismatch of supply and demand at different stages, the imperfect market system, and the dislocation of view of political achievement in some places.
The article calls for:
first, clearly put forward "to prevent the introduction or implementation of policies and measures that hinder fair competition" to curb vicious investment;
second, strengthen the rectification according to law and strike hard. Cracking down on chaos such as low quality and low price, infringement and counterfeiting;
3. Strengthening the guidance of standards to help upgrade. In May alone, more than 500 standards of all kinds were issued or solicited nationwide;
Fourth, the vast number of enterprises are self-disciplined and can not become "breakers". Being named by the People's Daily
this time, does it mean that the photovoltaic industry will usher in the stage of heavy fists to rectify the problem? Is the photovoltaic industry finally getting out of the quagmire of price war and getting back on track?
