On October 20, the Xinzhou Administrative Examination and Approval Service Administration of Shanxi Province issued the acceptance of environmental impact assessment documents for three construction projects. It includes the environmental impact report form of the photovoltaic power generation project (change) of the 100MW agricultural photovoltaic complementary energy storage system in yuanping City. The construction unit of the above
photovoltaic power generation project is Shanxi Xinhui New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. (Hereinafter referred to as "Xinhui New Energy"), which is located in Fuyang Town, Duanjiabao Township and Yangou Township of yuanping City. It is planned to build a 100MW photovoltaic power generation project , which is divided into 32 photovoltaic arrays. It is planned to install 540 Wp monocrystalline silicon PV module 221560 block and construct a supporting 220kV booster station. The total investment of the project is 450 million yuan and the construction period is 6 months.
According to the EIA report, the major changes of the photovoltaic project were re-submitted for approval . On July 7,
2022, Xinzhou Administrative Examination and Approval Service Bureau issued the Reply on the Environmental Impact Report Form of yuanping 100MW Agricultural Photovoltaic Complementary Energy Storage System Photovoltaic Power Generation Project, which approved the ecological environmental impact of the photovoltaic field and booster station of the project and the electromagnetic environmental impact of the booster station. Xinhui New Energy, the construction unit, started construction immediately after obtaining the approval, and now the booster station and the construction part of the land approved by the original environmental assessment have been completed, and the land use scope needs to be adjusted due to the land requisition for the site selection of the original photovoltaic field. On the basis of the
original land use of the photovoltaic field in the environmental impact assessment, the land use is reduced by 157.4278 hm2 . 111.8878 hm2 of new land was added, and the new land was occupied by other grasslands.
The current site does not occupy permanent basic farmland, does not occupy arable land, and is not suitable for crop planting. With the consent of yuanping Energy Bureau, the project cancels the complementary planting of agriculture and light, and changes to an ordinary photovoltaic power generation project . The construction site of the project is changed from Fuyang Town and Duanjiabao Township, yuanping City, Xinzhou City to Fuyang Town, Duanjiabao Township and Yangou Township, yuanping City, Xinzhou City, Shanxi Province, and the construction site is changed. On March 11,
2025, yuanping Natural Resources Bureau checked the new land for the project and agreed to the site selection of the new land for the project.
