On March 28, the "Cement Economy 50 People Forum" hosted by China Cement Network was successfully held in Hangzhou. The theme of the forum was: Understanding the Changing Situation, Solving the Difficult Situation and Seeking Development. Wei Huashan, chairman
of Queshi Cement Group Co., Ltd., said that Hubei is located in the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River, with unique geographical advantages, strong market liquidity and convenient access. However, at present, enterprises in the region generally show a lack of confidence, and cross-regional sales behavior is more common. On the one hand, the products of enterprises from the upstream region flow into the Hubei market to seek sales opportunities; on the other hand, the products of local enterprises also actively expand to the downstream market. The overall economic benefits have declined.
Wei Huashan suggested that large enterprises, whether nationwide or regional, including those with the right to speak in the region, should actively assume the leading responsibility for the development of the industry; control new production capacity and eliminate backwardness; encourage the advanced, vigorously develop green and low-carbon technology applications; strengthen communication in the industry and find effective ways to solve the industry dilemma.
