On December 31, local media in Guizhou reported that recently, Gui'an New District of Guiyang City, Guizhou Province and Ningde Times formally signed an investment cooperation agreement for the second phase project of Ningde Times (Guizhou) New Energy Power and Energy Storage Battery Manufacturing Base.
According to the cooperation agreement, Ningde Times will invest in the second phase of the project on the basis of the first phase of the Ningde Times (Guizhou) New Energy Power and Energy Storage Battery Manufacturing Base, which has been completed and put into operation. It is planned to design a power and energy storage battery with an annual capacity of 30GWh, covering an area of about 550 mu.
It is reported that Ningde Times (Guizhou) New Energy Power and Energy Storage Battery Manufacturing Base Phase I project landed in November 2021, completed and put into operation in October 2023, built according to the standard of "Lighthouse + Zero Carbon Factory", equipped with high automation rate production line. The annual production capacity is 30GWh .
According to public information, on October 28, 2021, the Guizhou Provincial Government and Ningde Times signed a strategic cooperation agreement to jointly build a lithium battery industry chain system from lithium batteries, upstream phosphorus and fluorine chemicals and battery materials to downstream market applications and battery recycling. Fifty days later, on December 24, 2021, Ningde Times Guizhou Base started construction in Gui'an New Area.
