On August 29, Conch Environmental announced that from August 29, 2024, Li Xiaobo resigned as executive director and general manager, and ceased to be a member of the Strategic, Sustainable Development and Risk Management Committee, authorized representative and agent of legal process documents; Wang Chunjian was appointed as an executive director and general manager, a member of the strategy, sustainable development and risk management committee, an authorized representative and a process agent. Mr.
Wang Chunjian, aged 55, is an engineer. He graduated from Anhui Building Material Industry School in July 1989, majoring in cement technology, and graduated from Wuhan University of Technology in January 2014, majoring in inorganic non-metallic material engineering. Mr. Wang Chunjian has rich experience in cement industry technology and enterprise management. He joined Anhui Conch Cement Co., Ltd. in 1989. He served as the deputy director of the sales department of Anhui Tongling Conch Cement Co., Ltd., the general manager of Ningbo Conch Cement Co., Ltd., the director of Zhejiang and Guangdong regional management committees of Conch Cement, the director of the human resources department of Conch Cement, and the director of the organization and personnel department, the director of the organization department of the party committee, the director of the foreign affairs management office and the director of the United front work department of the party committee of Anhui Conch Group Co., Ltd.
Prior to this, Conch Environmental released its interim results for the six months ended June 30, 2024. During the period, the Group recorded a revenue of RMB804 million, representing a year-on-year decrease of 17.18%, and a profit attributable to equity shareholders of RMB82.141 million, representing a year-on-year decrease of 58.93%.
The announcement said that at the end of the reporting period, the Group had put into operation and constructed 83 environmental protection projects in 21 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions, including 41 general hazardous waste projects, 5 fly ash washing projects, 6 sludge disposal projects, 26 industrial solid waste projects and 5 resource utilization projects. The treatment capacity involved is approximately 11.7526 million tons per year (excluding projects to be constructed but not yet constructed).
