In order to implement the work requirements of provincial and municipal water conservancy departments, strengthen the management of river courses during holidays, and not give illegal sand miners any chance, during the Mid-Autumn and National Day holidays, the Nanchang Water Administration Comprehensive Law Enforcement Detachment strengthened the enforcement of water law and severely cracked down on all kinds of water violations. It has effectively guaranteed the smooth and orderly management of rivers during the festival.
In view of the problems of illegal sand mining by "ants moving" and illegal soil extraction from river beaches during dry season, in order to prevent illegal sand miners from waiting for opportunities to act and trying to drill holes during holidays, the Nanchang Water Administration Comprehensive Law Enforcement Detachment has formulated a duty inspection plan for the eleventh period, implemented the leadership system, and always adhered to their posts and faithfully performed their duties. By combining the inspection and monitoring of law enforcement officers with the inspection of vehicles and ships, the inspection of the whole Ganjiang River basin was carried out, and the special law enforcement action of flood control safety protection in the whole city was continuously and thoroughly promoted.
On October 4, law enforcement officers of the Nanchang Water Administration Detachment inspected the Yangliuzhou River Beach in Qiaoshe Town, Jingkai District, and found that villagers had illegally taken soil, which was immediately stopped. After inquiry, the party involved in the collective road construction in the village took soil from the river beach, but the amount of soil taken was not large enough to meet the administrative penalty standard. Through the publicity and education of water law on the spot of the parties, the parties will backfill the excavated earthwork and restore the original state of the river. During
the National Day holiday, the Nanchang Water Administration Detachment conducted four joint inspections, dispatched nine people, handled one petition, and found and corrected one illegal act. In the next step, the Municipal Water Administration Detachment will continue to maintain a high-pressure crackdown on illegal sand mining, continue to strengthen river management and control, regularly carry out special work such as cracking down on illegal sand mining in "ant moving" rivers, resolutely curb the rebound of illegal sand mining in rivers, vigorously implement it, and effectively promote the normalization of cracking down on illegal sand mining.
