According to reports, on May 12, 2023, the Comprehensive Administrative Law Enforcement Bureau of Changjiang Li Autonomous County filed an investigation into the case of excessive emission of air pollutants from Hainan Changjiang Conch Cement Co., Ltd. The survey results show that the 1 # and 2 # lines of Hainan Changjiang Conch Cement Co., Ltd. are in normal production, the environmental protection facilities are in operation, and the online monitoring data are normal. On March 17, 2023, the Department of Ecology and Environment of Hainan Province entrusted relevant agencies to conduct on-site sampling and monitoring on the exhaust outlet of No.1 kiln tail chimney of Hainan Changjiang Conch Cement Co., Ltd., and the monitoring report results showed that the maximum emission concentration of particulate matter was 15.3mg/㎡, and the maximum emission concentration of sulfur dioxide was 46mg/㎡. The maximum emission concentration of nitrogen oxides is 137mg/m ³, of which the emission concentration of particulate matter has exceeded the atmospheric emission standard by 0.53 times. It is an environmental illegal act of discharging atmospheric pollutants beyond the emission standards of atmospheric pollutants or beyond the total emission control targets of key atmospheric pollutants.

It is reported that Hainan Changjiang Conch Cement Co., Ltd. is funded by Yangchun Conch Cement Co., Ltd. with a registered capital of 650 million yuan and registered at No.40 Central Avenue, Chahe Town, Changjiang Li Autonomous County. In September this year, the Comprehensive Administrative Law Enforcement Bureau of Changjiang Li Autonomous County imposed a fine of 209000 yuan on Hainan Changjiang Conch Cement Co., Ltd. for its illegal discharge of air pollutants beyond the standard.
