2023 is drawing to a close, and 2024 is coming quietly. For all photovoltaic people, 2023 is a very unusual year, China's new photovoltaic installed capacity is expected to exceed 180GW, to achieve more than 100% growth, the industry continues to pour into new entrants and capital, capacity supply is climbing rapidly, while concerns about overcapacity surround all practitioners, the price of the industrial chain fluctuates sharply, and component prices fall. The whole industry shows a trend of "volume increase and price decrease". Within
a year, we have witnessed the industry glory of half a million people gathering in SNEC, and also experienced the collapse of the wave of entrants. 2023 is a milestone in the development of Bangjie shares. This year, Bangjie closely followed the opportunities of the times, actively responded to the national "double carbon strategy", with the help of the rich experience of strategic shareholders in the photovoltaic field, gathered industry elites, in the changing external environment and fierce competition, always firmly determined to transform the photovoltaic business, steadily advanced in accordance with the established plan, and jointly opened a new chapter of Bangjie seamless clothing + photovoltaic development.
Practice the "pioneering" spirit, efficient commissioning and production. As the first stop of Bangjie Photovoltaic Strategy, Yangzhou Base entered the construction site on March 10, 2023 and was put into full operation on September 26. The engineering team of Bangjie has overcome difficulties, and in a short period of half a year, Yangzhou Intelligent Modern Factory has sprung up. With the same goal and concerted efforts, we have achieved the brilliant result of 10GW effective production capacity in six months.
Carry forward the spirit of "craftsmen" and create excellent products. We have made a major breakthrough in technological innovation and product quality. The manufacturing team of Bangjie has been innovating and striving for excellence. Since the first line was completed, they have continuously studied and made progress, and put pressure on themselves. In only about three months, the efficiency has exceeded 26%, which is comparable to the industry benchmark, and has won the recognition and respect of the industry and society with their strength.
Carry forward the spirit of "entrepreneurship" and promote business development. We have overcome many difficulties, explored the market against the trend, reached strategic cooperation with leading enterprises in the industry, sold products to the global market, established overseas localization team and global marketing network, rapidly increased market share and brand influence, and achieved remarkable results.
The wind and rain are like darkness, and the original aspiration has not changed. At present, the entire photovoltaic industry has been impacted, many enterprises and factories began to reduce production, business stagnation, the industry briefly entered the bottom of the cycle. For Bangjie, a mature management team is the premise to cope with the "cold winter" in an orderly manner. Under the leadership of photovoltaic veterans who have experienced several cycles, we prepare "food and grass" and "bullets" in advance to cope with the cold winter and ensure the safety of operation. In 2024, we will promote the 16GW cell + 16GW slice project in Jiangshan Base and the R & D center + Phase II 10GW module project in Yangzhou Base as planned; we will further reduce manufacturing costs and improve product quality through management improvement, process optimization, technological innovation and other initiatives.
