Huasheng New Energy signed a 150MW heterojunction module distribution agreement with QSD, a well-known photovoltaic distributor in Thailand. Huasheng New Energy will provide more than 150MW heterojunction module products for QSD in the next three years.
According to the official WeChat of Huasheng New Energy, recently, Huasheng New Energy and QSD (Quality Solar Distribution), a well-known photovoltaic distributor in Thailand, signed a 150 MW heterojunction module distribution agreement. Kwon Joonghan, General Manager of QSD, and Xiong Cheng, Sales Director of Huasheng Asia-Pacific Region, signed agreements on behalf of both sides to jointly open a new journey of "heterojunction" in Thailand's photovoltaic market.
According to the distribution agreement, Huasheng New Energy will provide QSD with more than 150MW high power, high efficiency, high power generation and high reliability heterojunction products in the next three years, mainly Everest series G12R, and QSD will also assist Huasheng in local product distribution in Thailand. In addition, the two sides will carry out in-depth cooperation in the localization of floating power stations, give full play to their respective strengths, and jointly promote the development of local renewable energy.
QSD is a leading global distributor of renewable energy services and photovoltaic module products, with a rich and mature distribution network in Thailand. In recent years, in order to accelerate the energy transformation, Thailand has been focusing on the market expansion and application of renewable energy. According to Bloomberg New Energy Finance statistics, by the end of 2022, the total installed capacity of photovoltaic in Thailand was 4.35 GW, and by the end of 2023, the newly installed capacity was 470 MW, an increase of 10.8% over the same period last year. It is estimated that the newly installed capacity in 2024 will be 1,397 MW, including centralized 372 MW and distributed 1,025 MW, and distributed PV will play a leading role.
