From the seventies and eighties of last century to the present, the proportion of low-grade cement in foreign countries has been decreasing. At present, the average proportion of grade 32.5 cement in Europe is about 15%, the proportion of grade 32.5 cement in Western European countries is basically less than 10%, and the proportion of low-grade cement similar to grade 32.5 in Japan is less than 3%. contrast, in China, the production of compound 32.5 cement once accounted for more than 70% of the total cement production, and it was not until 2019 that the proportion dropped below 40%.

Three Low-grade cement is low-carbon cement? Wrong!

Clinker production process is the link that produces the most carbon dioxide in the whole cement production system. Some insiders believe that low-grade cement can be mixed with more admixtures, and the amount of clinker is less, so it is more low-carbon. But in fact, concrete is the final product of the whole industrial chain. The increase of admixture in cement production will inevitably lead to the decrease of admixture in concrete preparation. Therefore, the low-carbon effect brought by low-grade cement is not necessarily low-carbon in concrete production.

About M32.5 cement: The quality is no problem, but the problem lies in the use

He believes that M32.5, including other 32.5 grade cement, is a product that meets the relevant national standards and is normal and reasonable to circulate in the market. However, it should be noted that M32.5 can only be used for masonry and plastering mortar, bedding concrete, and can not be used as structural concrete.
