Commencement of 150MW PV Project in Guizhou

On May 6, the official website of China Gezhouba Group Mechanical and Electrical Construction Co., Ltd. said that the EPC general contracting project of Sugarcane Fragrance Photovoltaic Power Station in Wangmo County was officially started.

The project is located in Wangmo County, Qianxinan Prefecture, Guizhou Province, with a planned capacity of 150MW . It is planned to achieve full capacity grid-connected power generation by the end of 2026.

Previously, on November 12, 2025, the project issued a tender announcement. The content shows that the rated capacity of the project is 150MW and the installed capacity is 180.18 MWp , all of which adopt 715 Wp monocrystalline silicon double-sided double-glass components . There are 49 arrays in the project. The output voltage of the photovoltaic sub-array of the photovoltaic power station is 35kV after inverter boosting. In the photovoltaic field area, the box transformer is transmitted to Wangmo Daguan Layang 220kV booster station through 35kV collector line. In this project, 6 circuits of power collection lines are used to collect electric energy, and then the electric energy is sent to the booster station by the combination of direct burial and overhead mode.
