On April 13, the Bureau of Ecology and Environment of Yongzhou City, Hunan Province, issued a public announcement on the approval decision of the environmental impact assessment document of Shuangtang Agricultural and Forestry Photovoltaic Power Generation Project (Major Changes) in Qiyang City.

The announcement shows that the construction unit of Qiyang Shuangtang Agriculture, Forestry and Photovoltaic Power Generation Project is Qiyang Bohe New Energy Co., Ltd. (Hereinafter referred to as "Bohe New Energy"). The project has been approved by Qiyang Branch of Yongzhou Ecological Environment Bureau on September 14, 2023 with the document of "Qi Environmental Assessment [2023] No.15", with a total floor area of about 1,027,604 ㎡ and a planned total installed capacity of 100MW. 116,676 pieces of 680 Wp monocrystalline double-sided modules are installed. Due to the limited land acquisition of some plots within the
original approval area, Bohe New Energy was relocated in other villages of Wenfu Town, Wenmingpu Town and Gongjiaping Town, and the use of some plots in the original EIA approval was cancelled. After this change, the land area of the photovoltaic field is increased by about 358,154 ㎡, and the total floor area is about 1,385,758 ㎡. The total investment of the project is 500 million yuan, the overall planning installed capacity is 100MW, the DC side installed capacity is 135.MWp, and 217,756 monocrystalline silicon photovoltaic modules of 620Wp are designed and installed. On December 26,
2025, Shuangtang Agriculture, Forestry and Photovoltaic Complementary Power Generation Project in Qiyang City, Hunan Province officially started construction.
