On March 17, Atlas Sunshine Power Group announced that its energy storage solutions subsidiary, Atlas Energy Storage, had signed a supply agreement with a large overseas public utility company. A battery energy storage system will be provided for an energy storage project with a scale of about 500 MW/2,493 MWh.
According to the agreement, Atlas Energy Storage will provide about 500 SolBank 3.0 energy storage systems for the project. The battery cells used in the energy storage system are independently developed and produced by Atlas.
Equipment shipments are expected to begin in March 2027 and be completed by July of the same year.
