On August 18, the Administrative Examination and Approval Service Bureau of Linfen City, Shanxi Province, issued a public announcement on the acceptance of environmental impact assessment documents for Huozhou 100MW photovoltaic power generation project (change) .
The EIA documents show that the project is a major change re-approval project, which is constructed by Guoneng Huozhou New Energy Company, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the State Energy Group, and is located in the mountainous areas of Licao Town, Sanjiao Township and Shizhuang Township, Huozhou City, Shanxi Province. Some photovoltaic blocks and overhead tower foundations have been constructed . After the change of the
project, the number of photovoltaic modules and strings in the photovoltaic array has changed. The construction content of the project is changed to the installed capacity of 100MW , 222,976 pieces of 540 Wp polycrystalline silicon photovoltaic modules are set , every 26 pieces are one string, a total of 8576 strings, and one string is supported by four brackets. A total of 34,304 prestressed support foundations, 10 series inverters and 32 box-type transformers shall be installed.
Regarding the reasons for the change of the project, the document points out that during the construction period, the construction unit is affected by multiple factors, such as the adjustment of the government's land use policy, the construction of high-standard farmland projects by the agricultural sector, and the adjustment of forest survey data by the forestry sector. As a result, the area occupied by the photovoltaic array area is reduced , which can not meet the full capacity demand of the project, so the construction unit intends to increase the available land around Wangjialing Village, Licao Town as the project land.
