On August 4, the Bureau of Ecology and Environment of Zhangzhou City, Fujian Province, issued an announcement on the proposed approval of the environmental impact assessment of Huaneng Zhangpu Fozhao 150MW fishing-photovoltaic complementary photovoltaic power station project.
According to the EIA documents, the project is located in Shicheng Village, Xiakeng Village and Dongban Village, Fotan Town, Zhangpu County, Zhangzhou City, Fujian Province, with a total investment of 677 million yuan, and is constructed by Huaneng (Zhangzhou) Clean Energy Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of China Huaneng Group. The total capacity of the AC side of the
project is 150MW , and the installed capacity of the DC side is 187.325 MWp . A total of 317,500 PV modules are installed , all of which are monocrystalline silicon N-type double-sided double-glass 590 Wp PV modules with flexible brackets. The total area of the project is about 3,000 mu. It is planned to use the space above the aquaculture ponds in Shicheng Village, Xiakeng Village and Dongban Village, Fotan Town, Zhangpu County to build a centralized fishing-photovoltaic complementary power station , which adopts the mode of "full access to the grid".
The project is expected to start construction in September 2025, with a construction period of 10 months .
Previously, on July 22, Zhangzhou Ecological Environment Bureau issued a public announcement on the acceptance of the EIA of the project.
