On July 17, the Bureau of Ecology and Environment of Baise City, Guangxi, issued a public announcement on the approval of the EIA of the first phase of Tiandongyin Chajiang City Photovoltaic Project. According to
the environmental impact assessment document, the project is located in Pingma Town and Xiangzhou Town, Tiandong County, Baise City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, with a construction scale of 150MW (199.138MWp on the DC side) and a total investment of 770.4782 million yuan. The project construction unit, Tiandong Zhongneng Construction and Investment New Energy Co., Ltd., is a subsidiary of China Nengjian.
The project covers an area of about 2518.9 mu. The photovoltaic modules are 630 Wp monocrystalline silicon double-sided photovoltaic modules, 28 of which are connected in series to form a string, totaling 316,092, with a total of 51 photovoltaic power generation subsystems. 51 sets of 960kVA ~ 4480KVA local box-type step-up transformers are provided. The voltage level of the collector line is 35kV, which is connected to the newly-built 220kV photovoltaic step-up station and boosted to 220kV before being sent to the grid. The project is equipped with a 220 kV booster station and 15 MW/30 MWh energy storage equipment .
It is reported that the EIA of the project was accepted by Baise Ecological Environment Bureau on July 3.
