Six people died in an accident at Jidong Cement Company in Inner Mongolia

< P > < FONT face = Verdana > The reporter learned from the relevant departments of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region that on the afternoon of the 10th, seven workers fell to the ground due to the tilting of the suspended working platform at the Jidong Cement Construction Site in Wuchuan County, Inner Mongolia. At present, six people died and one is still being rescued.

< P > < FONT face = Verdana > At about 17:00 on the 10th, a suspended work platform of Jidong Cement Phase II Project in Inner Mongolia Wuchuan Economic Development Zone in Wuchuan County of Hohhot City tilted, causing seven workers to fall to the ground. The injured were quickly sent to the hospital for emergency treatment. As of 2300 hours, six people were known to have died and one seriously injured person was still being rescued.

< P > < FONT face = Verdana > After the accident, the principal responsible persons of the Wuchuan County Party Committee and the county government, the responsible persons of safety supervision, public security and other relevant departments, and rescue workers rushed to the scene to organize rescue. After receiving the report, the Hohhot Municipal Committee and the Municipal Government attached great importance to it. Vice Mayor Wu Wenyuan and the heads of relevant departments immediately set off to the scene to command and deal with it, and set up an on-site emergency response agency.
