At 12:58 on June 28, Beijing time, Maveni Limestone Co., Ltd. in Tanzania, Africa, acquired by Huaxin Cement , was ignited and put into trial production after completing maintenance and upgrading. This project is the first project of the company's layout in Africa, which means that Huaxin's overseas development has entered a new journey.

Marvini Limestone Co., Ltd. is located in Tanzania, East Africa, about 8600 kilometers away from China. It is a wholly-owned subsidiary of a listed company in Kenya in Tanzania. It has a clinker production line with a daily output of 4000 tons and a cement grinding station with an annual output of 750000 tons. Due to various reasons, it has been in a state of shutdown. In September 2019, the company signed an equity acquisition agreement with the original shareholders, formally took over on May 20, 2020, and began to carry out maintenance and technological upgrading of the factory.

Due to the global spread of the COVID-19 epidemic, Chinese employees scheduled to go to Tanzania were unable to travel due to flight suspension. In the face of numerous difficulties, the 14 Chinese management team members who stayed in Tanzania before the outbreak of the epidemic faced the difficulties. On the one hand, they fully mobilized the enthusiasm of the original management and technical team of the company and integrated local resources. On the other hand, they actively promoted cultural integration, so that employees from China, India, Kenya and Tanzania in the factory lived in harmony. Since the beginning of the overhaul and upgrading on June 1, everyone has worked together to achieve ignition on June 28.
