According to foreign media reports, OCI Holding, South Korea's leading polysilicon producer, recently announced its performance in the second quarter of 2026, with consolidated revenue of 1.0231 trillion won (about 4.788 billion yuan). Operating profit of 108 billion won (about 505 million yuan) has been profitable for three consecutive quarters.
In terms of silicon business, OCI said that the company's 35000 tons of polysilicon production capacity in Malaysia has been fully produced and sold, and recently signed a new long-term supply agreement for American customers, and plans to expand production capacity to 70000 tons per year by 2029. Silicon wafer business, previously acquired 65% of Vietnam Boda Xinneng 2.7 GW silicon wafer factory through subsidiaries, and recently signed a long-term supply agreement, which is expected to supply new customers in the United States from 2027. In 2029, its wafer production capacity target will be expanded to 11.5G W.
