Previously, the highest average price of polysilicon on January 7 had exceeded 55000 yuan/ton, but since January 28, there has been no quotation for several weeks due to no transaction.
Silicon Branch said that the price of polysilicon fell sharply this week, mainly due to the slow start of terminal installation after the festival, the recovery of downstream operating rate was less than expected, and the demand was weak.
On the other hand, by the end of February, the inventory of polysilicon had reached 480000 tons, and some enterprises were more willing to reduce prices.
It is expected that the polysilicon market will enter a downward adjustment stage if there is no unexpected policy stimulus or a strong rebound in demand.
