Reuters reported that on September 29, local time, Tesla disclosed through regulatory documents that it had signed a total of $30 billion (about 201.647 billion yuan) credit agreement, including $20 billion in deferred term loans, $8 billion in five-year revolving credit and $2 billion in 364-day revolving credit. The
company plans to invest a record amount this year, mostly in AI computing infrastructure, solar cell capacity building, and semiconductor manufacturing projects with SpaceX.
Musk reconfirmed at an event in Washington on Tuesday that Tesla would join SpaceX to hit a total annual solar manufacturing capacity target of 200 GW.
The concept was first announced at the Davos Forum in 2026. It is planned to land in the United States in the next three years. Tesla and SpaceX will each undertake the task of building 100GW annual production capacity in order to realize the energy closed-loop of "ground production capacity-space application".
