21 September, The Bureau of Ecology and Environment of Jiaxing City, Zhejiang Province, issued an announcement on the approval of the EIA documents for the technical transformation project of high-efficiency new structure batteries and components of Zhejiang Jingke Energy Co., Ltd.
The announcement shows that Zhejiang Jingke Energy Co., Ltd. (Hereinafter referred to as "Zhejiang Jingke") intends to invest 1,792 million yuan to introduce advanced equipment such as wet method and graphics by eliminating old equipment such as velvet making machine and folding welding machine in the original plant. And the introduction of MES, SAP, AI and other digital intelligent systems, through a comprehensive technical upgrade, the implementation of efficient new structure battery and component technology transformation projects.
This time, Zhejiang Jingke's factory for technical transformation is located in Haining City, with existing production capacity of 6GW crystalline silicon batteries and 6GW battery components . After the implementation of the above
technical renovation projects, the existing production capacity of 6GW/a batteries and 6GW/a modules will be eliminated , and the research and development content of batteries will be retained . The whole plant has formed an annual production capacity of 2.7 GW/a high-efficiency new structure batteries and 4 GW/a modules.
